More techno is landing in the coming weeks, and we’ve stocked the site early so you can lock in what you need before it arrives. We’re especially excited to be introducing a few new labels with this drop. For the full list, head over to the site, but here are three we think deserve a bit of extra attention.
Toobris’ Everzero on Hayes is a stripped, hypnotic study in rhythm, six tracks built on elastic grooves, off-grid percussion, and subtle call-and-response motifs. The record leans into minimalism without losing propulsion, balancing tight structural control with a rubbery, almost improvisational feel. A name that’s been doing the rounds lately, we feel this record will be looked back on quite fondly in years to come.
Aussie Neo’s A Call For Response unfolds as a tense dialogue between rhythm and space, where sparse percussion and fractured patterns seem to constantly provoke and answer each other. There’s a raw, almost confrontational energy beneath the restraint, pushing minimal elements into something urgent and alive. One to watch over the next 12 months after recently relocating to Berlin.
Obscur’s Moving Pressure 04 channels a dense, driving energy, looped textures and tightly wound rhythms that feel like they’re constantly compressing and releasing. There’s a hypnotic toughness to it, where subtle shifts in pattern and tone keep the momentum locked without ever feeling static. Rene Wise is 5/5 with these releases on his label and showing no signs of slowing down.
We’re back from 7am tomorrow, see you soon.
