Apparently I'm on a paper trimmer tip roll at the moment! 😉

If you've ever struggled to read the measurements on the vertical ruler when using dark or detailed cardstock this little trick might help.

A strip of double-sided tape with the backing left on provides just enough contrast to make those measurements easier to see.

Here's another use for your Stampin' Up paper trimmer ✂️

Instead of folding first and hoping everything lines up, try using the bottom corner of the trimmer as a guide while you create the fold.

It helps keep the card nice and even and gives a crisp, clean fold.

You may already know this little Stampin' Up! paper trimmer shortcut, but if you don't...

When cutting a 12x12 sheet in half, simply line it up against the edge of the trimmer and it'll sit right on the 6-inch mark ✂️

One of those simple little things that's easy to overlook until someone points it out 😊

From detailed fussy cutting to everyday crafting and cutting ribbon, each pair in my craft room has its own job.

And with the new Detail Scissors arriving on 1 July, there'll be another option for those who love precision cutting.

Here's a handy little dimensional tip.

This tip has been around for a while, so you may have seen it before. But for those who haven't...

If you've ever found yourself squinting at white dimensionals trying to work out whether you've removed the backing, this one's for you!

Simply colour the backing sheet with a highlighter or marker before you start using them. Once the coloured backing is removed, it's easy to see which dimensionals are ready to go and which ones still need the backing taken off.

I first noticed this when my friend Anna Wheaton was doing it and thought it was such a clever idea.

Here's a little sneak peek of what we'll be creating in my June 27 card classes 👀

I had an idea for a card using Flip Flaps and, while doing some research, discovered a design by Patty Bennett that inspired me. After working through the measurements in both imperial and metric, I now have a class ready to share with you .

The sample shown here isn't quite finished, but it will give you an idea of what you can create.

The best part? You can personalise your project. If you have someone special in mind for the card, let me know their favourite colours, hobbies, interests or style, and I'll do my best to put together a kit that's tailored to them.

Ever stamp a sentiment and then wonder how you're going to cut it out? 🤔

If you don't have a die or punch that fits quite right, this is a handy little trick to create a custom shape that perfectly fits your sentiment.

Do you blend off onto scrap paper first?

I used to as well, but these days I often use a clear block or glass mat instead. It lets me reuse the excess ink I've already picked up and still get a smooth blend.

This month's Product of the Month (POTM) has nailed the cuteness factor.
