TLDR: We are leaving our last collective location 😭
Leaving Lollipop Collective has honestly been a really hard decision for us. We’ve met some amazing customers, some incredible vendors and a lot of genuinely lovely retail staff along the way, and we’ll always be grateful for that.
But as KKshop has grown, so have our standards for how we want our business to be represented. We put a lot of time and care into creating products and displays that feel thoughtful, original and aligned with our brand, so it’s become increasingly important to us to be in an environment that reflects those same values. At the end of the day, we want KKshop to be known for quality, creativity and customer experience, not just be another shelf in the crowd.
Another big factor for us is that the collective environment has become really restrictive creatively. KKshop has never been just “one product”. Our business has always been about creating, evolving and bringing new ideas to life, and over time we’ve felt increasingly boxed in by category restrictions that stopped us from fully expressing what KKshop actually is as a brand.
One of the hardest parts of being in a collective environment is that you lose control over how your business is represented day to day. Most of the retail staff and vendors have honestly been amazing, but unfortunately there have been times where our business has been represented in ways that don’t align with our values or the standard we hold ourselves to.
After trying to push through it for a long time, we’ve decided it’s time for us to move on and focus on what’s next for KKshop and put more focus in to our online store and our own pop ups.
To everyone who supported us at Coomera, thank you so much. Whether you bought something from our shelves or followed along with our journey, we genuinely appreciate it more than you know. Our last day to shop in store is Sunday 14th June.
I know for some customers this was the main location you shopped at so I have added a free click and collect option to our website - which is available from my place only 8 mins from Coomera Westfield. More to come on this soon 🩷
