Most of you know, I love doing photoshoots and sharing little history of rituals we have in Indian weddings, the best part is that every state in India has its own rituals and they all are so beautiful, that I wish I could cover all of them in my photoshoots one day.

The sari is the most representative apparel of India, worn in a variety of ways. A fabric-length of varying densities in its body, borders and end pieces often woven by combining a range of cottons and silks in colours and patterns that are constantly evolving from modest to sexy to classy and traditional.
The first mention of saris (alternately spelled sarees) is in the Rig Veda, a Hindu book of hymns dating to 3,000 B.C.; draped garments show up on Indian sculptures from the first through sixth centuries.
