Congratulations to one of our wonderful volunteer prison chaplains, Lyn, who has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the King's Birthday Honours!

Lyn was recognised for her service to the community as a volunteer prison chaplain of ten years, and through disaster relief roles.

This has included volunteering for flood, disaster and cyclone relief efforts across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales and Vanuatu with Samaritan’s Purse.

Lyn has also volunteered at Yazidi Refugee Camps in northern Iraq and, with Symbiosis International, helped to transform the lives of Bangladesh's poorest people.
