I think this is the part people miss.
From the outside it looks like: hold a crystal, listen to a meditation. And yes — technically, that is what’s happening.
But underneath it, your mind has somewhere gentle to land. The words guide you in. The crystal gives your body something physical to hold onto. And slowly, something starts to shift.
Not in a lightning-bolt-from-the-sky kind of way. Usually much quieter than that.
A softening in your chest. A release through your hips. A deeper breath you didn’t realise you were holding. A yawn. A few tears. Your shoulders finally dropping away from your ears.
That subtle feeling of your body going, “oh. We’re safe for a second.”
That’s the part I want you to notice. Not whether you’re doing it right. Not whether your mind goes perfectly quiet. Not whether you can feel the crystal buzzing like a tiny spiritual mobile phone in your hand. 😅
Just this: how do I feel before? How do I feel during? How do I feel after?
Because that’s how the crystal becomes an anchor. Something your body starts to associate with softness, grounding, release, safety — whatever the meditation is gently inviting in.
And over time it stops being a pretty little thing on your shelf. It becomes a reminder of the moment you came back to yourself. Of what softened. Of what opened. Of the breath your body finally let go of.
Of the fact that your body does know how to unwind, when it’s given the space.
So no — you don’t need to understand everything about crystals. You don’t need to memorise meanings. You don’t need to be good at meditating. Thank god, honestly.
Just hold the crystal. Listen. And notice your body.
That’s the bit. That’s the whole experience. 🤍
What does your body do when you finally sit still? Mine yawns like it’s been waiting all day for permission.
