If you’re building a serious deep-drop rod, it’s hard to go past ALPS HXN guides.

Built for heavy braid, big sinkers, and high drag pressure, they’re incredibly strong with excellent ring retention and saltwater corrosion resistance. The recessed “Interlock” design helps stop inserts popping out under load, and the smooth zirconium rings handle braid beautifully on long retrieves from deep water.
