Quick video of production of a batch of decals being printed using Roland ECOSOL MAX solvent inks. Once these are dry (24hrs dry time) we will laminate them, which makes them even glossier (and protects the print from stains and scrathes), then finally run them back through the machine to be contour cut to shape.

To all our valued customers. We are located on the Gold Coast close to Paradise Point, which puts us in the direct path of cyclone Alfred. Looking at the predictions, we may experience heavy flooding and power loss for several days.
All measures have been taken to ensure we stay safe and to best protect ourselves and assets.
We will do our best to keep production going, but it is now just a waiting game.

Decal lifespan and cleaning.
We only use major brand vinyls at 101 Decals.

Cleaning-
Decals should be cleaned with detergent or methylated spirits. Specialty cleaning products can be purchased from your local signage supplier. Allways do a small test patch with your cleaning product before wiping over the whole decal.

Decal lifespan-
This will depend on a few factors.
1- Orientation of the decal. Vertically applied decals (side of a boat or car) will last longer than decals applied flat like on the bonnet of a car.
2- Environmental factors. Decals on cars and boats that are kept undercover or in the garage will last a lot longer than if the decal is exposed to the elements.
3- Cleanliness. Decals on cars and boats that are regularly cleaned will last longer than cars and boats that are not cleaned often.

Boat name upgrade for "Kraken". We increased the size then split the name over the gunwale rubber. Application took a little longer but we are very happy with the end result. Soon "Kraken" will be used for racing, just waiting on race numbers to be allocated and we will then design and add them to match the current livery.
