Not every flathead in the system is the same fish, and your plastic should reflect that. Run the same size profile all session and you'll either miss the smaller feed fish or never tempt the true crocs holding deeper.

Feed-sized flathead are usually keyed onto smaller bait, so downsizing your profile and slowing right down often gets more bites in a session. But if you're specifically hunting a big fish, a bigger, more natural-swimming profile that matches the larger baitfish they're targeting is the better call.

The Fish Tail Minnow comes in sizes that let you make that call on the day, from smaller profiles for finicky feed fish through to bigger options built to tempt the real croc-sized fish.

Comment "Croc" below and we'll send you the link to the full guide on matching your plastic to the fish you're chasing.

Keep 'em holding on with a loaded juice pouch. Comment "JUICE" below to get 10% off your next Rattle Minnow order!

Sound, scent and a serious tail thump. The Rattle Minnow is built for the sessions when fish need a bit more convincing.

A built-in rattle chamber that calls fish in from a distance, especially in dirty water or low light when they can't rely on sight alone. Add the Juice Pouch scent pocket and you've got a lure that fish can smell, hear and see from further away than anything sitting still on a hook.

Once they're in close, the realistic profile and bite-resistant body take over, holding up through multiple fish instead of getting shredded after the first take.

If you're fishing around structure, in low light, or just want an extra edge on a tough bite, this is the lure to tie on.

Head to the website or visit your nearest stockist and grab a pack before your next session.

Looks like bait, slays like nothing else.

One of the best things about a trade show stand is you get to actually hold the gear before you buy it. No photos, no guessing what the action looks like, just the real thing in your hand.

At AFTR, we'll have the entire S Tackle range on display, that includes a first look at a few brand new releases we haven't shown anywhere else yet. Every soft plastic, every jig head, colours and sizes you might not have seen in your local store yet. The team will be there to walk you through what suits your local system, whether that's chasing flathead on the flats or bream around structure.

If you've been wanting to see the range up close before you commit to a pack, this is your chance.
Mark it in the diary and come see for yourself.

Most anglers spend all their time thinking about jig head weight and none about head shape, but the shape you're running changes how your plastic sits and moves just as much as the weight does.

A football-style head is built to sit flat and stable on the bottom, which keeps your presentation running true through slow rolls and stops it rolling awkwardly over uneven or rocky ground. It's the head to reach for when you're working structure or a rougher bottom and want your plastic staying upright and swimming straight.

A mushroom-style head does something different. It's designed to stand your plastic upright at rest, which matters when you're pausing on the drop and want it looking alive rather than lying flat and lifeless on the bottom. That upright stance is what turns a hesitant follow into a proper commitment, especially with fussy fish inspecting closely in skinny water.

Matching the shape to the situation, not just the weight, is a simple change that makes a real difference.

Outlast the bite. Outfish the rest. Big congrats to Phil and Tyson, taking out first place in the North Coast Bream & Bass (NBCC) Bream Round on 31 May with a ripper 3.7kg bag.

Both boys fish S Tackle day in, day out, and it showed on the scales. Backing their soft plastics against a strong field and coming out on top says a lot about the gear, and even more about the way they fish it.

Well done fellas, proper effort and a great result to back up all the time on the water testing and fine tuning the range with us.

If you're heading out on the local systems, get around the same plastics that got the job done and see what they can do for you.

So real predators don't hesitate.

Fish can't resist the bite. Comment "MINNOW" below to get 10% off your next Fish Tail Minnow order!

The Fish Tail Minnow is the lure that put S Tackle on the map, and once you fish it, you'll understand why.

Ultra-realistic 3D printed detail that mimics real baitfish down to the scale pattern. A tail thump that triggers reaction bites even from fish that aren't actively feeding. And a tough, bite-resistant body that keeps producing fish after fish instead of falling apart after the first hit.

Whether you're chasing flathead on the flats, bream around structure, or something bigger out wide, the Fish Tail Minnow covers more water and gets more bites than anything sitting in your bait bucket.

This is the plastic serious anglers reach for first. Time to find out why.

Head to the website or visit your nearest stockist and grab a pack before your next session.

Fighting the current is the fastest way to blow a good drift. Flathead sitting in a tide line or along a current seam are waiting for something to come to them, not chasing something charging straight across the flow.

Cast up-current of where you think the fish are holding and let the tide carry your Pad Tail Slim through naturally, giving the odd twitch to keep it swimming instead of constantly cranking the reel. That paddle tail keeps ticking away even on a slow drift, which is exactly what gets it noticed without looking unnatural.

It's a different mindset to fan-casting a flat. You're reading the current, not just the structure, and letting the water do a lot of the work for you.

Comment "Current" below and we'll send you the link to the full guide or just head on over to our website.

This month's winner knows how to put a soft plastic to work. caught an assortment of trevally on his local waterway. He landed decent big-eye, and a few few brassy trevally, including a PB 55cm banger, all on the S Tackle Fish Tail Minnow. Also, check out his live capture on his instagram feed of a very tidy GT.

The brassy PB came in tight around the pylons on 6lb, which is no easy feat. Light leader, structure everywhere and a banger that size on the line means every second counts. Getting it out clean is a proper skill.

Congrats to , taking out this month's prize pack. Well earned!

Fish can't resist the bite, and this month's entries prove it.
