Multiple positions exist for motivated and organised factory hands and/or Picture Framers to join our high-volume wholesale and retail framing business in Arundel on the Gold Coast. If you have experience with tools and working with your hands, or if you began a trade apprenticeship in cabinet making, carpentry or the like, we are looking for you to join and be part of our growing team. Successful applicants must be available for an immediate start, full training will be provided. These positions will begin as full-time casual employment with the outlook of full-time permanent work in the future once fully trained. Successful applicants may also have the opportunity to qualify for a Picture Framing Apprenticeship.



Possible Key Responsibilities:

• Chopping and joining frames

• Mat cutting – (Valiani, Eclipse and Wizard knowledge an advantage)

• Canvas Stretching

• Mounting of artwork

• Final assembly and finishing

• Assorted odd jobs, glass cutting, use of bench saws etc

• Quality Control - assessment of products

• Packing and Freight

• Workshop maintenance and tidiness



To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience working with tools and your hands preferred. A start in a trade apprenticeship would be advantageous

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a creative team environment.

• Attention to detail and quality-focused.

• Good problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple customer orders and meet delivery timeframes

• Some heavy lifting will be required.

• Enthusiastic

• Energetic, motivated and proactive approach

• Good work ethics

• Reliable

• Fit & Healthy



Our large warehouse which you would be working from is situated in Arundel - just opposite Harbourtown. Own transport essential.

If you are a young school-leaver who is looking for a full time job, leading to a career path in the Picture Framing industry, we are looking for you to join and be part of our growing team. Successful applicant must be available for an immediate start, full training will be provided. This position will begin as a casual employment with the outlook of full-time permanent work in the future once fully trained. Successful applicants may also have the opportunity to qualify for a Picture Framing Apprenticeship.



Key Responsibilities:

• Computerised Mat cutting

• Chopping and joining frames

• Cutting glass and acrylic

• Using bench saw to cut foam core to size

• Packing and Freight

• Workshop maintenance and tidiness

Additionally working towards:

• Canvas Stretching

• Final assembly and finishing

• Quality Control - assessment of products
