So nice to get out for a fish with Samantha, and take the boat for a run. This time of year it's so much fun flicking 3" plastics around the bridges and up the Jumpin pin. Bream , Tailor, Trevally and flatty are on the chew and thick on the moon phases. Match the hatch and enjoy the school hols!!!

From Monday 1 June to Monday 31 August inclusive, Australian bass is a no-take species in all Queensland tidal waters. 🛑🐟

This closure protects Australian bass while they spawn in estuaries during winter. It helps make sure they stay a popular catch for the future.

Stay up to date and download our free Qld Fishing 2.0 app for alerts on fishing closures https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/activities/boating-fishing/rec-fishing/app
