The face behind some of your favourite Good Throw Co designs 🤎

So lucky to work alongside this beautiful woman, Gabrielle Diamantis Seeing her original artwork go from canvas to something woven into our throws and used in homes all over Australia is pretty bloody special.

This is exactly why we started Good Throw Co — to create beautiful pieces for everyday life while sharing the stories and talent of the Australian artists we’re lucky enough to work with.

Yep, that’s right — our eldest daughter, 16-year-old Taylor-Lee from Taylor-Lee Scollay , is one of our talented First Nations artists here at Good Throw Co.

There’s something pretty special about watching her artwork come to life on our products and seeing her designs make their way into homes all around Australia. We couldn’t be prouder. 🥹

Supporting Australian and First Nations artists is such a huge part of what we do, but having one of those artists be our own daughter makes it that little bit more special. 🤎

Not only is it stunning, machine washable, woven from recycled cotton and ridiculously versatile, but it also showcases the work of one of our favourite Australian artists, Gabrielle Diamantis

There’s something pretty special about being able to bring real Australian art into your everyday life — whether it’s thrown over your bed or lounge, packed for the beach, or taken away camping.

And in a world where we’re seeing artists’ work copied and ripped off far too often, we’re incredibly proud that every Good Throw Co collaboration is about supporting the artist behind the artwork and sharing their work the way it deserves to be shared. 🤎

Turns out the boys love our throws too 🤎

Our Summer Lovin’ Throw, designed in collaboration with Australian artist Gabrielle Diamantis, was made for exactly this — to be used, taken places and become part of the good stuff.

Elements Of Me 🌺🐚☀️

You know those little things that instantly make you feel happy and at home? For Taylor-Lee, it’s the ocean, collecting shells, bright flowers and the warmth of the summer sun — and they all come together in her newest artwork, Elements Of Me.

The scattered shells take her back to early mornings along the ocean with her family, while the hibiscus represent memories of collecting flowers on walks with her siblings. At the centre, the beaming sun captures that feeling of warmth on your skin and the sense of freedom and peace that comes with it.

It’s a piece about the things that ground us, the memories we hold onto and those simple moments that make us feel most alive. 🤎

And YES… the cushions are coming! 🙌 I get asked about these every single day 😂 They’re hopefully arriving towards the end of September and I cannot wait to finally have them here.
