A great result from a disastrous failed attempt!
We never criticise anybody having a crack at DIY board repairs. But without a doubt the biggest fails come when people attempt to fix boards with the wrong materials/chemicals.

After a few days repairing this customer was happy to be back in the water for this never-ending swell season.🤙🏽

Replaced original High Density foam rail, reinforced future box, epoxy wrapped laminate, added the red rust stain that is so common with

Further exploration with Wing Pin from …. Added these Twinzers to help engage the rail better. Now it really feels like the low profile wing works WITH the fins without any delay in turns. Still has the planing speed and momentum, but way improved control rail to rail.
