Some seasons call for altitude. Others call you home.
It’s been a little quiet here at Aerohart. Not much time in the air lately — the country has turned dry, and when it does, priorities shift. The flying hat gives way to the cowboy hat, and runway mornings are traded for long, dusty days in the cattle yards.
There’s something grounding about it. Working stock at first light. Reading the sky not for flight conditions, but for rain that may or may not come. The rhythm is different, yet the discipline remains — patience, instinct, respect for the land.
The aircraft is resting. The horizon isn’t going anywhere.
We’ll be back above it soon enough. For now, we’re exactly where we’re needed.
And so very grateful to see Western QLD and the NT receiving a much-needed soaking over the past few days.
