Due to a job opportunity overseas the tough decision has been made to put the business on hold temporarily.

After almost 7 years, countless hours spent and hundreds of panels made out of this very factory, it looks awfully strange to see it empty with no moulds.

The goal was to always make a strong panel that could last longer than most other brands and do it at a competitive price and I feel that it was something that was achieved.

This isn’t the end for Number 4 Composites though, but rather just a break in the story of the business.

Congratulations to Jock and the whole Jock Goodyer Racing team on a faultless effort on getting the A1 again.

It’s awesome to have our panels on an Australian title winning car, but it’s even cooler to now be on the last 4 championship winning cars.

All our customers did well with 3 of the top 5, and 6 of the top 10 cars running our panels.

We now have two new products on offer. A clear in-mould gelcoat and a white in-mould gelcoat.

Made for the aircraft industry, these gelcoats are made to withstand the elements while keeping their shine and durability for years.

We don’t just do carbon for speedway!

Full carbon dash for an off road rally car come up an absolute treat. We made it thicker to withstand the punishment of off road racing and weighs in at only 2.6kg at a span of 1.4 metres.

4 years between photos!

This midget/ speedcar kit is one of the first full kits we ever made and is still going strong.

A lot has changed since the first photo, from materials to resin types but our goal has always stayed the same of quality over quantity.

On a side note, 3 out of the top 4 cars at the Victorian speedcar title on the weekend had Number 4 Composites panel kits 🏆

Major repair job finished on this carbon sprintcar hood. A whole front section was grafted and bonded back on to make the panel whole again whilst also building the strength and rigidity back to original. We also filled in dzues holes, throttle pedal and steering box cut outs in a carbon dash panel
