One of the most important benefits of bees is the of flowering and fruiting plants. 🐝

We've never had so many pumpkins on the one vine before! This self seeded pumpkin vine was growing between two bee hives and has given us 6 beautiful pumpkins so far! 😀

Supporting local bee keepers is a great way of ensuring there are bees in all our neighbourhoods, helping to keep the environment in balance.🌺

Here's some weekend baking inspiration for you. 🥣

This is a great cake to take to a friend's place or family gathering, because it's lactose free, gluten free, sugar free and surprisingly, it isn't like eating a block of cement. 😆
It's also really easy to make if you have a food processor, and is low on food waste as you use the whole oranges.

Bees are amazing creatures, and we just keep learning more and more interesting facts about them.🐝

This one might prove to be very useful to you if you're an allergy sufferer.
We're no doctors, so please don't hold us to this, but it's been suggested that if you eat that's produced within 3kms of your home (or where you spend most of your time) it can help you become less reactive to pollens. 🌸

My guess, something to do with the fact that the bees are utilising the pollen and breaking it down into your honey, your then consuming it in small doses and learning how to process it. 🍯

Try drizzling chicken wings with some - you guessed it - ,🍯 then dust them with onion powder, garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt and pepper.
Throw them in the oven or the BBQ and wait for the appreciation from everyone who eats them!

Well it's got a lower or meaning that doesn't give the same rise and crash in your blood sugar levels that refined white sugar does.
