Produce grown on Hillside Family Grove, near Gulgong in the Mudgee region, yield a range of high quality products from our figs- jam, paste, syrup and preserves. At Hillside our entire family work together to produce high quality products for your pleasure.

It's dukkah making day!
I love the colours in the frypan just before I stir them to roast. It's so earthy, and vibrant at the same time.
The roasting smell is also delightful!

More babies born on the farm over the last few weeks. Some just yesterday!!
The guinea pigs are super cute.
Little lamb and curly are among my favourites! ❤️

We'll be at the Mudgee farmers Market from 8.30 tomorrow morning!

The girls were being creative whilst feeding the chickens this morning!
I just don't think they cooperated very well!!

Early morning fence fixing so that we can move the sheep.
Can't complain!
It's about 12degC which is soooo warm for this time and this time of year.
And the view is magnificent!

Last weekend, it was 8! Haha

It's a massive weekend in Mudgee and Gulgong this June long weekend.

With the rain just fallen, the ground is looking green and vibrant again! 🌱🌱🌱 (It's marvellous to see!)

And lots of markets to visit to sample the local produce and hand made products.

Find us on Saturday at the Anglican church markets/2850 and at the Gulgong Henry Lawson Heritage Festival markets outside IGA.
On Sunday we'll be at the maker's market at Robertson Park, Mudgee.
So many places to be!

It's shaping up to be a massive weekend in Gulgong!

The Henry Lawson Heritage Festival celebrates its 50th year with a wide range of activites and events. These include market stalls, food, Street parade, petting zoo, kids games and crafts, dress up competition, historical car display. There truly will be something for everyone!

If you've been wondering what to do this long weekend, pop over to Gulgong to see why we won the best small regional town tourist award for NSW. It's delightful 🙂

We will have our Gulgong grown extra virgin olive oil and fig products for sale, and I'll be located out the front of the IGA. You can't miss me!

The sheep were partaking of their buffet this morning!

We repurposed an old pallet and some plastic tubs, old correlated iron from a random broken down shed and created the feeding place!

We then filled the plastic troughs by implementing Pat Coleby's sheep supplementation system which offers the animals a variety of minerals to supplement what they get from the ground.

Seems they like it!

And!! More rain today, I think we got more last night than we did last week!
