I donā€™t support the use of any AI. At all. Please go and educate yourself on what itā€™s doing to our environment, to our communities, to water quality and sound pollution from data centres. Donā€™t get me started on the flora and fauna impacts. Iā€™d prefer a blank cardboard box with the product name on a label than using AI. Weā€™ve done it for decades before and we donā€™t need to be selling products with it. Creativity should always win.

Heading into Spring, weā€™ve got a lot to do round the farm (aaaaaand I also got a caravan 6 weeks ago and havenā€™t had a chance to take it out yet, Iā€™m getting a little restless and staring to feel a little burnt out!) so please keep an eye on our hours as they will change week to week before we start to hit the crazy of Christmas.

Iā€™m always happy to open by appointment where I can, it means the world for small business when we can do that and it beats sitting in a quiet shop all day when you know youā€™re meeting someone whoā€™s made time to seek you out and visit!

Last minute Fathers Day gifts? Weā€™ve just had a late delivery of Pivot Arc Lighters, my favorite carving knife - the Morakniv 120 and packs of basswood for carving, a few extra copies of Fire to Fork and our new Primus Fire Pits (to be honest..the shop is still pretty full of useful gifts and ideas for dad to get into!).
