The Artisan Sessions have been a dream in the works for a while. And what better time to start than to compliment Gympie's Studio Trails Month!

Gympie Artisan Market will transform into hands-on workshops for July and October, designed to connect our community with the makers, artists and craftspeople behind the work we admire.

Instead of simply viewing the finished product, you'll have the opportunity to learn directly from talented local creatives, discover the skills behind their craft, and create something of your own to take home.

Whether you're looking to try something new, reconnect with your creative side, spend quality time with friends, or simply slow down for a few hours, these workshops are designed to be welcoming, inspiring and fun.

Because art isn't just about what hangs on a wall or sits on a shelf.

As Gympie celebrates Studio Trails Month this July, we're embracing the spirit of creativity, craftsmanship and connection with something new at the Gympie Artisan Market.

On Saturday 11th July, selected artisan stalls inside the Homestead will transform into intimate mini-workshops as part of The Artisan Sessions.

In a world of fast everything, The Artisan Sessions invite you to slow down, connect with local makers, and rediscover the art of making by hand.

Go beyond browsing the stalls and step behind the craft. Meet the maker, learn traditional and contemporary skills, hear the stories behind the products you love, and create something of your own to take home.

Whether you're curious to try something new, keen to learn a timeless skill, or simply looking for a unique experience, The Artisan Sessions offer a rare opportunity to experience the creativity that makes our region so special.
