We have completed the shop reno and added some powerful lights.

We have also changed the name to Discount Diecast to separate the Hot Dogs and cars. We are still in the same building at 25 Main Street Hahndorf. We should shortly have a website up at www.discountdiecastcars.com where you can purchase at fantastic prices.

We have started our renovations on the car side of the business as of today. This means that the car side of the business will be closed for a few weeks so you will not be able to wander in and check out the cars.

As new cars arrive I will display them on here and if you wish to purchase you can call us on 0419 829 110 to make a time for a "private viewing". I will also try to put up a few good deals on here over the period of the reno that can be purchased over the phone and be picked up on site or sent to you.

A few people have inspected our wall mural but nobody made an offer so I will price it at $1,000. If you would like to purchase it let us know on 0419 829 110. We will take it off the wall but you will need to transport it home to your cave.

As part of the reno we will be selling 2 of the car display cabinets, if you need more space to display your cars come and have a look at what we have and discuss your needs. Be warned they are very heavy so in order to relocate you will need a few friends or a moving company.

We are shortly to undertake a few renovations on the shop.

If anyone is interested in purchasing our large Schumacher, Hamilton, Nurburgring Ring mural come in and make an offer. We would love to see it go to a good home or man / woman cave.

It is on metal and screwed to the wall in 2 pieces. Any questions have a chat to Marie on site.

We managed to get a hold of 2 sets of Oz Wheels HQ's that we are selling with a 1:64 scale Display Case.

We have tried to get our hands on more sets and the Vans but it seems to be that due to their popularity there are no more Oz Wheels cars available.

If you don't want the case you can still purchase the cars on-line at various sites for around $275 for a set.

We will be open from 11am today.

For F1 fans we have some 2023 1:43 cars in stock as per this photo. Further cars we are told are on their way and should be in stock from mid to late April. The 1:43 cars come in a acrylic box and look very smart, they are all $50 each.

We have some larger 1:18 scale F1 cars in stock as well.

Have been a bit slack on Facebook due to being busy, so here is a look at our current stock in photos.

We are now also stocking Sluban building blocks as per the photos. They retail from under $10 up to over $300. We only have a small number in store at the minute as a test, to see what you like. But will increase the numbers from mid March as per demand. We are also building and testing construction times on a few models so we can show you the finished products.
