More than five years have passed since the opening of Yawa Aquatic Centre and those high-traffic floors are still looking great!👇

Our scope was the procurement, management and installation of the local and internationally specified products, including floor preparation (diamond grinding, moisture suppressants, cementitious levelling) and the install of high-end specialty rubber, resilient / carpet finishes and entry matting.

Job Description:
👷 Delivery Driver / Warehouse Co-ordinator at Cotter Floors is a crucial role, responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and delivery of flooring materials.
⚙️ This position demands a blend of logistics expertise, driving skills, and team coordination to ensure materials are efficiently handled and delivered to job sites across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
Warehouse Management:
🚚 Drive forklifts, vans, and medium rigid trucks.
📦 Manage material picking, packing, and delivery to job sites.
📋 Coordinate with project managers and contractors to schedule deliveries.
🧑‍💻 Use warehouse management software for efficient operations.

Inventory Control:
📊 Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
🔖 Organise pickups from suppliers and manage material storage.
🧱 Ensure a safe and clean warehouse environment.

Team Coordination:
🤝 Work collaboratively with team members and manage daily operations.
👏 Provide support and training as needed to ensure smooth workflows.

Safety and Compliance:
⚠️ Implement and adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
🗒️ Conduct regular checks to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
🪪 Forklift Licence, Medium Rigid Licence, Construction Induction Card, Working with Children Card.
👷 Proven experience in warehouse management or similar roles.
📝 Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
💻 Proficient in using warehouse management software.
📑 Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.

We're excited to be partnering with Melbcon on another project for Waverley Christian College.

Following a rigorous tender process, we're proud to have been selected as the trusted flooring contractor for what will be an outstanding new facility at the Narre Warren South campus.

The new three-level Senior Learning & Resource Centre will be a fantastic addition to a campus that now caters for more than 750 students from Prep to Year 12.

We look forward to commencing works and delivering another successful project alongside our long-term client, Melbcon.
