Beardlings!
It has been too long. We've been busy in the back ground. Mostly printing but the WoodSlayer has managed to get some hobby time in. Finally finished the LOTR diorama with the help of a stout dwarf friend. Also been pottering around and kitbashing Stormtrooper weapons.

The plague has infiltrated this hold Beardlings! Papa Nurgle has kept the Wood Slayer indoors this week, forcing him to drag out some old unfished projects. Behold the Lizard Blood Bowl pitch! Some work to do still but it is getting there.

“The hold” Paint rack

Every good artisan needs good storage for their tools Beardling! What safer place than in a hold!

These are lightweight PLA racks on which various types of paint can be stored at a reach that makes painting more efficient and enjoyable. Each rack can hold 18 x citadel style pots or 24 x Vallejo type dropper bottles, as well as a mixture of both. There is a grid on the rear top rack with 6mm squares for various paintbrushes and other tools.

The racks are as stable as a squat dwarf once paint has been stored, however for those who prefer some extra stability (and may be expecting a siege!), the racks include 2 x holes on either side piece. These holes can fit 5mm diameter wide and 2mm deep magnets (not included). These can be glued into place and keep adjacent racks locked together. Becoming an impenetrable stronghold for your paints!

Although strong, PLA does have its limits and is known to warp under extreme heat. Be careful of leaving it in a hot car or in direct sunlight for long periods of time.

These racks come unassembled in 5 parts. This includes 2 side pieces and 3 racks. It is recommended that CA or PVA glue is used to put the racks together. The images on Ebay and Facebook will provide enough detail for you to put your new racks together with little grumbling.

Lo Beardlings!

It has been a busy week for the Wood Slayer. Working on a a Plinthe for a friend... who I must confess plays Skaven... has attracted some unwanted guests. We have been besieged by rodents in the workshop!!

The Wood Slayer left this piece out to dry over night and woke to this mess. Rat scratches and warpstone stuffed into the cracks! Fortunately it was only the rear of this display Plinthe and the front is still undamaged. Nevertheless, for him it will forever be a constant reminder of those pesky rats he holds so dear!!
