hello friends 👋

i have a little announcement to make… but firstly, do not forget that is on SUNDAY this weekend due to anzac day being on the saturday 🍁

okay, so *deep breath*… this is going to be ’s final market season. i thought i would just slip quietly into the ether and not make a fuss (i do not like goodbyes!) but when i saw some of my emu regulars yesterday, i decided i wanted to say thank you in person (and give them the opportunity to stock up!)

this is not a goodbye post - yet! i will do a proper one after my final market but I just wanted to share my plans for the next few weeks

i still have quite a bit of stock left so will be discounting a large selection of books

this week i’m aiming to list as much as i can on the website, so if you can’t make it to a market you can purchase for postage or pick up, or if you just wanted to get first dibs and then pick up at a market. stay tuned - i’ll let you know when i have most things listed!

my thriller and crime peeps - i only have a very small amount of stock in this genre (maybe 15?) so these won’t be going online and it’s possible i will run out of these before my last market

yesterday was a sad day at 💔 i had to say goodbye to my cat bestie and fave reading buddy, simba, after spending the last 15 and a half years together

his illness was very sudden and he deteriorated shortly after we found out he had cancer. we were able to arrange for him to leave the world peacefully, in my lap and in my favourite part of the house - my reading corner 💖

if you have ever purchased a book from us, i am so incredibly grateful. over the years you have helped me fund surgeries for one of my bunnies, save the lives of a couple of sick chickens and this past week, helped with simba’s care — giving us the opportunity to have an at-home farewell and have him cremated. thank you. it truly means the world to me 💐
