It takes place at the heritage Hawthorn Arts Centre and features hundreds of handcrafted arts & crafts items, fashion, jewellery, accessories and more. The Hawthorn Makers Market normally operates on the first Sunday of each month from March to December at the heritage Hawthorn Arts Centre. The Market has been specially curated to support and showcase independent local art & craft producers and ar

tisans. Includes, Arts, Crafts, Fashion, Jewellery, Soaps, Skincare, Stationery, Homewares, Baby and Kids wear, Japanese textiles, Crafted timber and much more.

ROTARY HELP IS ON ITS WAY
TO 700+ FOSTER CARE KIDS.

Camberwell Rotary Club (managers of the Hawthorn Makers Market) has committed $5,000 in funds towards the not for profit HOPE IN A SUITCASE (HIAS) project. Better still, Camberwell Rotary has received an additional $5,000 matching grant from the Rotary District 9800 Foundation towards the project.

HOPE IN A SUITCASE https://www.hiasc.org.au
is a not-for-profit organisation that supports young children who have typically been (often hurriedly) removed from families due to abuse, neglect or crisis. This may mean collecting their belongings into a plastic bag. It can be a traumatic time.

HOPE IN A SUITCASE
helps provide children with some normalcy by way of providing new suitcases filled with brand-new clothing and personal essentials to help ease their move. Better still, the Matching Grant from the Rotary District 9800 Foundation will now allow for the additional purchase of some 750 high value gifts including Sports Balls, Gem Art sets and Water Bottles.
