V FOR VICTORY N FOR NELLY V FOR VICTORY TOUR ALERT!!!

Hardline Media proudly presents VNV NATION for their long overdue return to Australian shores.

VNV Nation aka Victory Not Vengeance, is a British/Irish Electronic music group formed in London, the brainchild of Ronan Harris who fronts the band as singer, songwriter and producer.

Ronan Harris was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, where he was exposed to electronic music via radio. He developed an interest in bands such as KRAFTWERK, DAF and THE HUMAN LEAGUE. In 1983, he joined a band named Die Fabrik, whose punk-inspired noise and synth style didn't land well in Dublin. This led to Harris moving to London in 1989 where he began composing for what would eventually become VNV NATION.

VNV NATION have remained one of the most popular Alternative Electronic Music bands, topping the DAC charts in many countries and headlining festivals worldwide, especially in Germany where the band have achieved incredible success.

Their most recent releases CONSTRUCT and DESTRUCT, both topped the charts, with CONSTRUCT reaching No.3 on the German Official Top 100. VNV NATION continue to be one of the leaders in the Electronic Alternative Scene, and Ronan and the band cannot wait to return to Australia.

Also, if you are into the current wave of Dark Electronic Synthwave such as , Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, etc etc etc, this might be right up your alley...

THE FUTURE IS NOW ALERT!!!

Nothing puts a smile on our collective dial like the youngest of the young UTOPIANS, their keenness and passion is undeniable. Check out these junior champions HENDRIK and ZAKK, who visited us yesterday to pick up some MAIDEN goodies in preparation for November's tour.

Young ZAKK is already a seasoned veteran of live shows having already seen AC/DC, KISS, METALLICA and MAIDEN. His lil' bro HENDRIK is counting the days until he sees MEGADETH and MAIDEN live in front of his naked steaming eyes in a few short months. Their excitement level was off the charts!

Their Dad was also wearing a SEPULTURA ARISE shirt, so you know he knows what's going on...

Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Sabbath's fifth studio album obviously has one of the greatest openers of all time in the glorious title track. It is also clearly one of the finest HARD ROCKING METAL albums of all zee times, no questions asked. Getting to the finale of this album and this little gem of a progressive rock masterpiece really brings the album home with strings (violins and s**t) courtesy of The Phantom Fiddlers adding a somewhat orchestral feel to the dream sequence. Many people (including Utopia's mate and top bloke Mikael Akerfeldt consider this to be Sabbath's greatest track of all time.

And don't even get us started on Geezer Butler's timeless lyrics...

and know that they are good.”

The first full length album from Seattle's Progressive Metal giants often gets overlooked when compared to Operation Mindcrime, Empire, and Rage For Order, but we reckon (in other words, we KNOW) that this is also one of the greatest albums in the history of all that is heavy.

You are about 38 minutes into this thing as CHILD OF FIRE dramatically ends thinking "Well now, it can't get any fu***ng better than this!"

And then it begins...

Nine minutes and forty seconds of absolute greatness known as ROAD TO MADNESS.
