🌳 We thought we had an appreciation for trees. Then we met Dave Witty. Wow.

We were thrilled to be joined by Dave on Sunday who took us on a Healesville nature walk. Autumn turned on the weather with a glorious day, and Coronation Park brought the trees.

Dave talked us through all things trees from our giant Eucalypts, via Silver wattles to Algerian Oaks. Thanks to other local brains trusts, we covered some local history, and Bryn from Healesville Historical Society gave us the back story on Coronation Park’s past as a hop field. Steve from also shared some fascinating local knowledge.

Huge thanks to Dave for a wonderful day. We’ll never look at a tree the same way again.
