Who says you can’t garden in winter? 🌿

Sydney’s winter has been very mild and the nursery is bursting with beautiful native plants in bloom

It’s the perfect time to get out in the garden, no excuses! 💚

Beautiful Pseudanthus pimeleoides flowering at the nursery 🤩

This little shrub grows up to 60cm tall and likes very well drained soil.

It’s endemic to NSW and will thrive in part shade or filtered morning sun 🌿

🧡🩷Chorizema cordatum, commonly known as the Heart-leaf Flame Pea is a beautiful native shrub from WA.

This vibrant flowering plant is an amazing option to brighten up a more shady corner in your garden.

It grows to about 50 cm tall and 1 m wide and likes well drained soil.

Aren’t those flowers just gorgeous!! 🤩

🌱 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 • Horticulture qualification or nursery experience preferred (but not essential) • A genuine love of Australian native plants and/or a keen interest in gardening is a must!

🚚 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 • Includes occasional weekend work
Duties include: • Deliveries in our nursery van (valid Australian driver’s licence required) • General nursery duties • Unloading trucks • Putting plants away • Assisting customers

🌿 Happy National Tree Day! 🌿

Today was all about celebrating Australia’s native plants and habitat restoration.

The awesome plant in this photo is the critically endangered Acacia terminalis subsp. terminalis (Sunshine Wattle). This wattle is native to eastern sydney but unfortunately there are fewer than 500 plants remaining in the wild.

So for your next planting project, think about this beautiful Acacia!!
