🚜 Farm Safety Week 🌱

Learning about farms starts with understanding the environments, animals and routines that make them work.

The Eurekakids Farm Animal Barn invites children to explore rural life through imaginative play, storytelling and hands-on discovery. As children care for animals, create farm scenarios and role-play daily routines, they build vocabulary, problem-solving skills and an awareness of the world around them.

A wonderful resource for sparking conversations about farms, animals and staying safe in rural environments. 🐄🐷🐔

Fidget toys are everywhere right now... but have you thought about how they can support learning?

When used intentionally, fidget toys can be much more than a passing trend. They can become valuable tools that help children regulate their emotions, maintain focus and engage more confidently in learning.

Whether it’s supporting concentration during group time, offering a calming strategy during transitions or strengthening fine motor skills through hands-on play, the right fidget can make a meaningful difference.

Our Fidget Toy Set of 12 includes a variety of sensory tools, puzzles and spinners to support different learning styles, making it a practical addition to classrooms, therapy settings and calming spaces. 🌟

Meaningful cultural learning doesn’t begin and end with NAIDOC Week.

It grows through respectful relationships, listening to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, learning from Elders and Knowledge Holders, and creating spaces where First Nations perspectives are valued every day.

Resources can support this journey when they are used with intention. They can spark meaningful conversations, encourage curiosity, and complement the knowledge shared by local communities, helping children develop a deeper understanding of culture, Country, identity and belonging.

In this learning experience, children are exploring Aboriginal tracking symbols and Noongar artwork symbols through sensory play using handmade dough, creating opportunities for storytelling, inquiry and connection to Country.

As we celebrate NAIDOC Week, we’re reminded that the most meaningful learning happens throughout the year, when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are respectfully embedded into everyday experiences.

Let’s continue learning, listening and walking together.

Celebrate NAIDOC Week with resources that inspire connection, culture and meaningful learning.

Created by proud Ngarrindjeri artist and educator Emma Stenhouse, the handcrafted Parayi & Yali Doll Set and Finding My Way artwork help children explore Aboriginal perspectives through storytelling, play and connection to Country.

Together, we can create learning environments where First Nations cultures are celebrated every day.
