Sometimes things don't go your way. Bit of a shocker of a trip as far as boat issues are concerned, but at least there was a little reward for the perseverance. I hear the strawberry picking can be good this time of year in the north of WA.

Good addition to the year long comps. You can still win a prize with a fish that you know won't win a top 3 placing. Shot this fish recently on a trip up north. I had already sorted my prior to the trip, but won't win first place with this little fish. Cool that I still have a chance without having to find scales, do the measurements etc. And thanks to for once again sponsoring the competition. Hopefully I get the bigger brother sometime this year.

Been spearfishing a particular location for a number of years without bumping into any black spot tuskies. I knew they were there but just not seen them, so was a nice surprise when on my final swim of the trip I bumped into this 8.75kg specimen. Trip made. #

I have enjoyed getting my young fella into fishing. Hopefully this is the gateway to beginning some spearfishing but still being on the ocean and catching fish is great. Thanks to for the help with the pinky.
