We so enjoyed framing this evocative Karen Standke print for a client who wanted to be able to see it easily from many spots in their home.

We used Tasmanian blackwood for the frame, and Ultra Vue glass, which is almost invisible and perfect for showing everything.

We had some fun framing a couple of Courtney Barnett posters recently. After a bit of thinking, we opted for a simple black frame to let the colours of the poster sing.

We love framing band posters, mostly because it gives us an excuse to sing in the factory. 🎶

Let's just say, we are better framers than singers.

Factory dog Buddy got a head start on Melbourne's circuit breaker lockdown by poking himself in the eye with a stick 🤦‍♂️

Like Buddy, we'll be at home during this lockdown, and the Picture Factory won't be open to customers. However, if you were going to pick up your framing this week, contact us by email on [email protected] and we'll arrange delivery.

Some time ago, we framed these lovely Albrecht Dürer prints. They’re deceptively simple, but so finely detailed we could stare at them for hours.

A few years ago our director Jeremy found himself in beautiful Winnipeg. Some generous friends took him for dinner at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. It's an incredible place and so when those friends gave him a photographic tile of the museum, he knew it should be framed.

'Let us tell your story' is our slogan, and learning the stories behind what we frame is precious to us.

Here is a letter written by a young woman to her new neighbour at a nearby farm in, we think, about 1910. She kindly included a recipe for Mrs Bailey's Green Tomato Pickle. We loved framing this little part of the letter writer's family history. And we might just use that recipe.
