We have kept so many items in use and away from being unnecessarily textile recycled.

The other day we connected The Hygeine Co and Ngutu College so these heavy duty rolls could be saved and used for loose parts play and craft. There was so much interest from others who were interested in them too.
Good news! There’s more available!

Textile twine is so fun to make and is a great way to reuse lengths of fabric! Cut up your old shirts that are too worn for the op shop and rework them into this reusable rope! ♻️

Not only are we an op shop doing things differently our customers are too! We appreciate everyone who holds off on donating over long weekends while stores are closed. We feel for all volunteers going back today that are dealing with huge messes to clean up!
Remember that donating after hours is DUMPING. No matter how well intentioned.
