I took over this bookshop in May 2014 from the wonderful Simon Alloway and after a name and interior layout change it was ready to go!! I am passionate about reading and collecting books and have been since a child. For me sharing the pleasure of books with other people is a dream come true! Whether you are a toddler or a teen, read Classics or Mills & Boon, I will help you find the book you need.

Nothing gives me greater pleasure then a customer who is pleased with one of my recommendations. I hope to create a bookshop that is friendly and welcoming for local and visiting book lovers.

This 1st edition hardback of Arthur C. Clarke’s ‘Rendezvous with Rama’ is extremely rare. First published in June 1973 in the UK by Victor Gollancz, then later that same year in the US by Harcourt Brace Jovanovitch.
