Wally's Book Exchange We sell secondhand crime fic, classics, westerns, fantasy/sci-fi, childrens, general fic, romances,

I took over this bookshop in May 2014 from the wonderful Simon Alloway and after a name and interior layout change it was ready to go!! I am passionate about reading and collecting books and have been since a child. For me sharing the pleasure of books with other people is a dream come true! Whether you are a toddler or a teen, read Classics or Mills & Boon, I will help you find the book you need. Nothing gives me greater pleasure then a customer who is pleased with one of my recommendations. I hope to create a bookshop that is friendly and welcoming for local and visiting book lovers.

Morning Wally’s Friends!
Both our stores are inundated with books at the moment so we are going to put a pause on accepting any for the month of September. Returning books will obviously still be taken back for the usual 50% credit but any others (for trade in or just dropping off) won’t be accepted. We’re sorry for the inconvenience but need to work on clearing our backlog. Please consider donating to the many community street libraries around our towns instead 😁

Happy Monday Wally’s Friends!
Last week my helpers Shel and Sas decided I was channeling ‘historical tavern wench’ with my attire🙄. So, in keeping with that, we thought we’d hit you with some historical fiction from ‘Ye Old Days’ that may or may not featured a tavern and/or wench😂…enjoy!
Open today in Hervey Bay only, 9-1.
