This Weltron 2007 came to us for restoration and Bluetooth installation - incredibly it was left behind in the basement of a house (thankfully covered in a blanket!) after the house was sold 🫪 Complete with speakers and stand it also has the microphone, antenna and the original paperwork including the assembly diagram for the stand which we've never seen before. Internally it was in really great condition and is the best sounding Weltron we've ever worked on so it's new owner is truly a lucky guy

After 5 years of Weltron hinge production and over 300 sold we've just released a version 2 of the re-engineered Weltron hinge! Version 2 includes a number of updates/enhancements such as a new plastic material, new manufacturing method, hidden metal strengtheners, extra curves and slopes plus a series of minor adjustments based on feedback from users who had slightly non-standard Weltron top covers.

The new hinge has gone through our rigorous testing regime which includes 1000 open and close actions whilst it is installed in a real Weltron and passed with no issue.

The new hinge is only available from us via Facebook or eBay and please note we no longer have a US distributor for our Weltron spares so if you need anything contact us directly and beware of imitations!

We have the perfect replacement telescopic antenna to fit the Weltron 2001 Spaceball. Very few original antennas ever survived as they were so easily bent and snapped. Now we have developed an almost perfect bolt-on replacement. It's dimensions are almost exactly that of the original (max length from body is 510mm, the original was 550mm) and it has the all important internal tube stem (so it can be fully retracted) but also retains the ability to be extended and angled in all directions. Simply unscrew what's left of the old antenna and bracket and replace with our new antenna and bracket. Connect the internal antenna wire(s) and it's done, a 5 minute job

We provide 2 different antenna styles: the STANDARD antenna has a default factory finish tip and the DELUXE version has a square tip very similar to the original.

Now we have been able to source from a new supplier providing the same high quality but at a better price so we're passing these savings on to Weltron owners.

We've just commissioned a full cassette player button set for the Weltron 2007. The buttons are cast aluminium with the correct text and font and shape and with an inner section made of plastic so it fits and grips the fixing tabs on the Weltron. We're very happy with the results!

Available for A$30-35 each (depending on size) or A$80 for the set of 3. And yes we're trialing postage to the US again but tariffs means US customers unfortunately will have to pay an extra 12%

Just leaving the workshop... a yellow 2007 needing a fair bit of work but it's been totally worth it. The best sounding 2007 I've ever heard, and that's just through its internal speakers. We supplied and fitted an LED light kit, Bluetooth kit, cassette refurb kit, BSR refurb kit and deck service complete with our glow-in-the-dark short spindle. Customer was lucky enough to have bought a new lid years ago so we fitted that with one of our low-stress hinges. It's all looking great, and we'll be sorry to see it leave the lounge room!

We have developed an extendable rod antenna that is an excellent replacement for the original rod antenna fitted to the 1970s JVC Videosphere TV

The original antennas are very often damaged beyond repair but now there is a solution to restore your Videosphere back to almost the factory look (note: the new antenna is 52cm long, whereas the original is longer at 67cm)

Like the original the new antenna not only extends but can also be angled at any angle, it also includes a fitted replica of the original white antenna tip

Original speaker driver for Weltron 2003 spherical speakers, often paired with Weltron 2001 8-track/radio and the other Spaceball series (see photos).

These are originals and are therefore perfectly matched with the Weltron output stage unlike modern replacements that require driving a lot harder than the Weltron amp can really provide

For anyone who's ever tried to work on a Weltron 2001 and been frustrated by stripping the cross-head screws, we now have a cheap solution. The Weltron screws, whilst they look like standard Philips head screws, are subtly different and were very common in Japanese made electrical goods in the 1970s.

These special screwdrivers are hard to find and can cost $50+ each, but we've found a cheaper and in many ways better option. We provide the 3 most common hex driver bits that fit the Weltron 2001, they're small so postage is cheaper and all you need to buy is a hex bit compatible screwdriver and these are very common and can be adapted with many aftermarket add-ons like long reach bars, and universal joints to get into tricky angles/positions

They are a total MUST-HAVE for Weltron hobbyists

Note: if you buy any of our other Weltron update kits these screwdriver bits will travel postage free

note 2: when you receive these bits you will probably see no discernible difference to the Philips bits (i've seriously stared at them for ages and can't really see the difference!) but they absolutely do work, they fit perfectly into the Japanese-only cross head screws and make undoing so much easier and safer (no stripped heads)

note 3: these screwdriver bits are also very useful for the other spaceage Weltron range including the 'other' Spaceballs and the Weltron 2005 and Weltron 2007
