*MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT*
Good morning everyone!
Thanks everyone so much for expressing interest in the store opening weekend. So keen for you all to come and see the new space!
Regretfully, I am going to have to push back the opening day back one week, to the 15th of November. As some of you may know, during the flooring process, we had a plumbing incident that has pushed the schedule all out of whack for opening day. Having to now reevaluate the likelihood of meeting our open date. Everyone is telling me that there is a chance it will all be ready by the 8th. However, that is not a chance I'm willing to take. As I would hate for it to get to next Thursday or Friday, only to be told that it doesn't look like it'll be ready for the 8th and having to do a last minute reschedule. I think it would be ideal for me to just call it now, and push it back a week to guarantee that it will all be in the best possible shape the store can be in for you to all enjoy on the opening day.
So, what's changing? The weekend of the 8th would have been perfect. It fit in perfectly around all other events in the local scene. However, now being the 15th, it does clash with the collectables market, of which I have had great pleasure vending at for the last few months. So, due to this, I have decided to extend the Grand Opening Day, to become a Grand Opening Weekend. As I want to make sure, I give people the option to attend the Market and the store over the weekend without people feeling like they would be missing out on either! Originally the opening day events were all Saturday, with the Pokemon tournament on Sunday. But now, we will be running our Pokemon tournament on Saturday, in what will become our normal Pokemon League day for the future of the store. Then for the two days, we will be doing super cool give aways and games. On the Sunday, we will have the tables free, so I'll be able to do a massive break live stream. Where everyone can bring in product to rip open, or buy product instore to open on our stream, then whoever gets the biggest hit on the day will take home a prize!
