They are all handmade by me in beautiful Tasmania. Hello everyone, my name is Leanne and I am the owner of Inspired by Cotton. I live in beautiful southern Tasmania in the suburb of Lenah Valley which is underneath the stunning Mt Wellington. From my home studio I can often see Wallabies hopping around my backyard. I consider myself very lucky to have these beautiful surroundings to create my prod

ucts in. I love fabric and source it from all over the world so I have a wonderful variety for you to choose from. My product range consists of baby blankets, bibs, dribble bibs, burp cloths, nursery sets, soft toys, felt food and tooth fairy pillows. These products are great for welcoming a new baby, a baby shower gift or just spoiling that little person in your life. The adult sized blankets are also great for that hard to buy for adult in your life. Custom orders are also very welcome. Yep that’s right!! I bet you’ll never think about wombats the same again right?

But this super soft double minky baby blanket that I’m making today (custom order) is far from stinky. It’s actually like velvet and will make any newborn fall fast asleep in no time at all 😴🥱💤

NO, I DON’T WORK WITH POO 💩

I work with fabric and make handmade items for babies and children - blankets, bibs, felt food packs for pretend play etc - but I don’t know what to call myself when somebody asks me what I do for a living.

I don’t want to call myself a SEWER and I don’t really like the term Sewer (and I’m definitely not a seamstress).
So what’s left?
