We here to help you lead a healthier and greener lifestyle with service, trust and inspiration are at the core of our values. We researching and carefully select products that meet our green, ethical and healthy criteria. This means

our products must meet at least one of the following:
- It promotes or enhance sustainable practices
- It enhances physical and mental health
- It is made of natural, organic, sustainable, biodegradable or recycled material
- It is manufactured in a way that is sustainable and fair
- It can be used to improve energy or water efficiency
- Preferable, it is made in our region or supports local economies
- It does not contain harmful chemicals and its production does not produce harmful by-products

After 12 wonderful years with Teros, owners Mel and Ahmet are retiring - and it's time for new owners to take Teros to the next chapter.

Humbled by your support and proud to have contributed over $175,000 to conservation projects, Mel & Ahmet are now searching for new leadership to build on Teros' values and spirit. In the meantime, the store is still buzzing with new products and working on new projects.

Here's to a dozen incredible years, and cheers to the next adventure! 💚 🌏 🚴‍♂️

We’ve seen even more of you going home with our locally made beeswax candles lately, and it has been heartwarming to hear why 🥰

Many of you are enjoying candles not only for relaxation, but you’ve also shared with us that you’re embracing a gentler winter evening routine with your families to support your natural circadian rhythm 💛

Swapping bright overhead lights and screens for warm candlelight in the evening reduces exposure to blue light, which is known to interfere with your body’s natural production of the sleep hormone melatonin. With its soft amber glow, candlelight mimics a natural sunset, helping to remind us that it is time to rest and to release melatonin.

There are so many other lovely things about beeswax candles, including of course that they are a natural, toxin-free and long lasting alternative to paraffin and soy.

Our range is made right here in Tassie from pure local beeswax, crafted by candle maker Quenton, as well as Seven Sisters Candle Co ✨✨

You may have spied a few of our favourite go-tos in our latest window display!

In celebration of National NAIDOC Week yesterday we joined many others at the flag raising ceremony at Risdon Cove. It was an honour to connect with the incredibly long history of palawa culture.

We particularly enjoyed the art pathway leading to the ceremony site, along with the beautiful creations by local children, made from natural materials.

We’re grateful for opportunities like these to listen, learn, and deepen our connection to Country and community.

As always, Team Teros acknowledges the Muwinina People, Traditional Owners of the land on which Teros nestles. We honour their history, their care for this magnificent island, and the enduring strength of today’s palawa community 🖤🌞❤️

Look what we recently unpacked... the healthiest regarded baking paper around 🤗👩🏻‍🍳

After a delay due to production issues, our long awaited baking paper is back gracing our shelves once again! It has been identified by many reputable sources as one of the safest (and most sustainable!) baking papers on the market. It’s home compostable, FSC certified, unbleached and totally chlorine-free.

Did you know that many brands intentionally add PFAS chemicals to enhance parchment’s nonstick and moisture-resistant properties?! We have found independent lab tests to support that If You Care do not do this!

We know a lot of you have been eagerly awaiting its arrival, so we wanted to reach out to let you know it’s baaack 💚

We wanted to take a moment to recognise a truly incredible human, an integral pillar in his field.. Sir David Attenborough, of course! Who is celebrating his 100th birthday today. What a gift he continues to be to our environment, a super educator and a true ambassador for Planet Earth. A gentle soul and storyteller, communicating such powerful messages and inspiring generations to protect our natural world.

We’re in awe of the outstanding work he does, and of the impact he has had on our precious wild places here in Tassie. We’re especially grateful for the messages of support he has shared to help protect the Tarkine / Takayna, which he has described as ‘immeasurably precious’, as well as his support for protecting vulnerable swift parrot habitat.
