We’re wishing you all a Happy Easter Weekend! 🐰

Just to let you know that we’re open as usual today and tomorrow (that’s Easter Sunday!) but closed for the public holiday on Monday (Easter Monday) 💗

A customer recently asked us what “boujee” meant… and honestly, we just pointed to Cosmic Easter Eggs 🙃✨

Made with their new creamy Luvio chocolate, they’re absolutely divine (plus gluten & dairy-free). A little bit fancy, a little bit fun - we think they could just be the loveliest thing possible to be treated to this Easter. As Loco Love puts it, “decadent for grown-ups, gentle for little ones“.

We also love that their cacao is sourced from fairly paid farmers and grown using regenerative agroforestry, looking after both the land and the people behind it 💚

Here they are, hanging out with some of your favourite classic bars, being given a run for their money by a wowza of an autumn Tassie sunset over the weekend 😍

As always, it’s been so wonderful hearing your stories of bumper crops and home-grown goodness this year! We also love the sound of those big happy sighs in-store when you spot our Fowlers range and realise you can grab everything locally... especially when your garden gifts are all ripening at once 🙊

Here at Teros we are mourning the passing of Jon Kudelka, an Australian treasure, a beloved supplier to our shop and a wonderful, humble bloke.

We first met Jon after he convinced First Dog On The Moon to visit, taste and debate Tassie whisky distilled across the four wild corners of the island. Nature loving Jon insisted this must be done by eco-friendly electric bikes. We were chuffed at Teros to equip and set them up with sturdy e-bikes, bags and little orange flags that we felt worthy of such a challenge! Jon’s flag was quickly adorned with a skull and crossbones. Despite the exhausting tasting and a few flat tyres, they completed the quest and produced the hilarious book ‘Spiritual Journey’.

We regularly saw Jon and Maggie as they built their business and supplied Teros with their cards, books and calendars. Jon’s little book on Hobart was always popular – our staff loved “The Southerly” depicting penguins blowing every which way over kunanyi. We also loved his later art works on cheeky Tassie animals like the snappy Tassie Devils, curious Currawongs, and playful Platypuses.

He was a unique national treasure and will be sadly missed by us at Teros and so many Australians. Our thoughts and condolences go to Maggie, Kay and Oskar 🤍

Another highlight for us when looking back at last year was seeing the improved local cycling infrastructure! 🤗

made significant improvements, which both our Teros team and local South Hobart customers have deeply appreciated and made use of on a daily basis. These changes have helped us all feel safer on our daily commutes.

This fills us with hope for the year ahead — that all local councils will continue to provide similar options and expand safe cycling paths into other suburbs.

Here’s to a wonderful 2026 full of safe commutes and leisure rides out in nature (and reducing our personal carbon footprints woohoo!) 🚲💙

Oh hey 2026! We’ve taken the last couple of weeks to reflect back upon last year, and we’re filled with gratitude to our Teros community (that’s you!) as well as the talented makers of our products and our wonderful hardworking local team. With your ongoing support we’ve continued to be able to give back to our environment, by donating some of our profits back to nurturing the very thing driving our business - our love of Mother Nature and desire to protect her.

As you might know, as members of we donate a minimum of 1% of our profits to incredible climate and conservation projects. We support the likes of  and who all do amazing work!

One achievement for 2025 which means a great deal to us is being able to contribute to helping purchase and protect Pine Tier - 1,914 hectares of spectacular highland landscape. In turn, protecting precious habitat for its local residents - the Tasmanian devil and spotted-tailed quoll!

We couldn’t have contributed to this without your support and your mindful purchases 💚💚💚

Would a festive gathering really be complete without the echo of cracker snaps and shared giggles over Dad jokes - all whilst sporting gloriously daggy hats?!

No smiles here.. we’re getting serious about eBike security!

Unfortunately over the past few months, we’ve seen the largest rise to date in reported bike thefts by our customers. So we’d like to share with you some simple ways to deter theft:

✔️Secure your bike to an immoveable object, like a bike rack or post
✔️Use more secure locks, like folding or D locks
✔️Remove your battery and take it with you after parking your bike, if practical to do so
✔️Install a tracker or an alarm system (if your bike has a smart system, consider installing the Bosch alarm tracker unit)

Also, as a precaution, to help recover your bike faster if stolen, consider posting your bike details on these websites:

propertyvault.com.au/bikevault/

These platforms routinely check your details against bikes recovered by the authorities, and suspected stolen bikes. So this will help police connect your bike back to you if needed.
