It was lovely to have Arianne James pop in to sign our writer's wall and a stack of her new book, 'Daughters of the Tide'. Arianne has written a story set in the 1920's, around Fossil Cove in Tasmania's south, exploring the folklore of mysterious selkies intertwined with family secrets and the bonds of sisterhood.

It was lovely to have author Sue Abdullah pop into the Hobart Bookshop to sign copies of her book 'People, Pottery & Painting' which celebrates the life and artistic legacy of pioneering Tasmanian artist and potter, Eileen Brooker.

Sue is currently in Tasmania for a events at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and with The Art Society of Tasmania so watch out for these and make sure to pick up your copy of this fantastic celebration of a Tasmanian Artist.
