✨ A Health Check-In & A Personal Reflection ✨
High cholesterol is incredibly common, affecting many Australians. At my recent 6-monthly health check, I discovered that my cholesterol levels were elevated, despite making conscious choices around nutrition, movement and wellbeing.
As I reflected on the results and discussed them with my healthcare provider, I also explored what this experience meant for me on an emotional and spiritual level. In my personal practice, I often ask myself what areas of life may be calling for greater attention, awareness or healing.
For me, this experience highlighted the importance of reconnecting with joy.
As a qualified wellness practitioner, I believe that periods of personal growth can bring hidden emotions and subconscious patterns into awareness. Sometimes feelings of unworthiness, low self-esteem, sadness or feeling stuck can quietly take up space in our lives, inviting us to nurture ourselves more deeply.
Inspired by this reflection, I turned to one of my favourite Western Australian native flower remedies, Yellow Wattle, which I personally use as part of my emotional wellbeing practice. The affirmation that accompanies this remedy is:
"I now abandon my past and see the joyful beauty of my life. I live in the present fully and with joy. I now feel optimistic about life and the future."
Alongside this, I enjoy using my Joy Aromatherapy Blend, creating a simple daily ritual to help me pause, reflect and reconnect with the beauty that exists in the present moment.
While flower remedies and aromatherapy are part of my personal wellbeing journey, I continue to work with my healthcare team regarding my physical health. For me, true wellness is about supporting mind, body and spirit together.
What brings you joy these days? 🌼💛
