The main threat to good coffee at home isn’t the coffee. It’s running out on a Tuesday and grabbing whatever’s on the way home from work.

Three ways to avoid that;
1. One-off order. You know what you want, you want it now.
2. Subscription. It turns up before you run out, which removes the Tuesday problem entirely.
3. Connoisseur Club. A new single origin every fortnight, chosen by us, for people who’d rather be surprised than decide.

Most coffee bags give you a best before date. Very few give you a roast date, which is the only one that actually matters.
Coffee doesn’t spoil. It just quietly gets worse. It’s at its best from a few days after roasting to about a month after, so a bag with twelve months printed on the front has usually spent a decent chunk of that sitting in a warehouse being patient.

Here’s a steaming hot take; the biggest factor in whether you’ll like a coffee isn’t the origin, it’s whether you’re putting milk in it.
Before you flip your coffee lid, hear us out. Milk flattens acidity. So the bright, fruity, expensive one you were told to try can end up tasting like sour milk, and the sweet caramelly one you ignored comes alive.
As the experts, we’d say something like Kenyan Grade AA which is bright, complex, fruity is wasted under milk. Whereas Organic Colombian has a caramel depth that survives a flat white.

Just trust us on this one.

Every early morning. Every roast. Every delivery. Every order that came through and left the building the same day it was roasted.

The right espresso machine is still going to be on your bench in 10 years. The wrong one gets sold on Marketplace after six months.

We stock ECM, Rocket, and more. More importantly, we actually know the machines. Not 'read the spec sheet' know. 'Been pulling shots on this model for years' know.

Come in, try before you buy, talk to someone who has opinions. (We have a lot of opinions. They're all useful.)
