"Our entire point of difference was discovered in a 55-degree ‘dump room’.

Early in our sourcing journey, we walked into a textile showroom in Jaipur that felt like a designer’s dream—floor-to-ceiling block-printed cottons and hand-stitched kantha. But as a small business just starting out, we couldn't meet the massive minimum orders required by the big exporters. So, they took us to "The Dump Room."

It was 55 degrees inside, unglamorous, and overflowing with end-of-run textiles—the miscellaneous pieces and leftover meters from massive global orders that had nowhere else to go.
