🌿 Meet Frankie 🐑🤍

One of the things we love most about this slower life is getting to know all the characters around us.

This is Frankie.

She’s just over a year old, one of Heff’s ladies (Heff is the handsome white ram you’ll spot in the reel 😂🐏) and we’re patiently waiting for her to have her very first lamb.

Every morning I take some of the half-eaten apples from the orchard — thanks to our resident parrots 🍏🦜 — and share them with the sheep. Nothing goes to waste around here and the girls certainly don’t complain!

As I stood watching Frankie today, I couldn’t help but appreciate how lucky we are.

This property backs directly onto the National Park where we regularly see kangaroos, emus and some of the most beautiful wildflowers the Perth Hills has to offer 🌿

Add in the sounds of birds singing, lambs calling to their mums, sheep grazing in the valley and the view stretching out across the hills... and it’s hard not to stop and soak it all in.

This is the side of 7Sundayz we want to share more of.

Not just the beautiful moments, but the simple everyday ones too.

The animals.
The garden.
The changing seasons.
The people.
The adventures.

Because for us, 7Dayz ✨ One Feeling ✨ 7Sundayz has never just been a brand.

It’s a way of living 🤍

Now tell us... should Frankie’s future lamb get a 7Sundayz follower-chosen name? 😂👇

🚜 Things I learned this weekend...

1. I can drive a 4-wheeler.
2. Apparently I have muscles in my back I didn’t know existed.
3. Orchard life is not for the faint-hearted 🤣

This weekend I was ridiculously proud of myself for finally learning how to drive the quad bike around Perth Hills Orchard.

I was feeling pretty confident...

Fast forward to today and I am discovering muscles that have clearly been dormant for decades 😂

To say I’m sore is an understatement.

In fact, this morning Rog had to brush my hair because reaching behind my head was apparently no longer an option 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

After watching me hobble around the orchard, Rog casually mentioned:

“You know you’re supposed to use a push and pull action when steering.”

A little late with that information Rog 😂🚜

But honestly, this is exactly what we signed up for.

Learning new skills.
Getting outside our comfort zone.
Growing stronger.
Making memories.
And slowly bringing Perth Hills Orchard back to life one adventure at a time 🌿🍎

The glamorous side of orchard life isn’t always what you see on Instagram 🤣

🚜 A BIG WIN FOR 7Sundayz and PERTH HILLS ORCHARD 🌿

After weeks of tinkering, problem-solving, dirty hands and a few “will this thing ever run again?” moments 😂... our tractor is finally back up and running!

Rog has spent countless hours bringing it back to life, with a little help from some of our boys along the way 🤍

To most people it might just be an old tractor.

To us, it represents progress.

Every orchard has a story and this old girl is about to help us write the next chapter of Perth Hills Orchard. From mowing, mulching and maintaining the property to helping us restore one row of fruit trees at a time, she’s going to be part of bringing this beautiful old orchard back to life 🌳🍎

There is still so much work ahead, but this week felt like a milestone worth celebrating.

Watching Rog drive it through the orchard for the first time put a pretty big smile on my face 😊

Here’s to muddy boots, family teamwork, fresh air and slowly restoring this special place together 🌿

Autumn at Perth Hills Orchard 🍂🧡

Honestly… we never realised persimmons could be this beautiful until now 🌿

The colours through the orchard at the moment feel almost unreal — deep oranges, golden leaves, crisp mornings and fruit hanging heavily from the trees. It’s one of those “stop and take it all in” kind of seasons.

This slower life we’ve stepped into is already teaching us so much about patience, growing, seasons and finding beauty in the simple things.

Perth Hills Orchard is slowly becoming the home of in the most unexpected and perfect way 🤍

And yes… we are slightly obsessed with persimmons now 😂🧡
