After 10 years, the Jilkminggan OpShop will be closing due to competing community priorities.

We’re proud of what the shop has meant to community over the years and grateful to everyone who has supported it.

If you have sent parcels in the last couple of weeks, please don’t worry, we will make sure they are passed on to other communities. We kindly ask that any future parcels be redirected to other Remote OpShop communities.

Please follow the Remote OpShop Project - Community Network to stay connected with a growing network of community opshops across the country, many of which are looking for donations of goods and support.

We are very late in posting a Huge Thank You to everyone who sent in the toys Last year - the kids loved and there was enough to have 2-3 goes at picking what they wanted, as you can see by this picture we still have a few left over 💕💕 unfortunately I only have one shot of the amount of parcels but they were all similar amounts - some came straight from the big stores! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

We cleared these parcels of 💕 but imagine it 4x that’s what we have received this past 2 weeks - so we would like to ask everyone if you could pause these lovely parcels for our op shop until mid July then we will be able to catch up.
