Firstly Ggg is on cloud 9 with the safe arrival of her first grandson 'Alby'. A trillion and more kisses for my beautiful family!

A quick program starting September 2026 - in our VIP Group - 'A Quilting Bee'.

If you aren't aware how they run.... or if you'd like to participate - comment yes and you will be placed in a group.

Every month you and your group members make a block and send it to the Queen Bee.

When you are the Queen Bee - you choose your colour, theme, block pattern etc and everyone in your group will send you a block for you to make your own quilt.

Well, elated and ecstatic does not even come close to expressing our emotions..
Son messaged Monday night ... "Now mum, don't say anything to Shay, but there's an awful lot of moaning and groaning going on here tonight.. tonights going to be the night"

Tuesday morning rolled around...(Not sure I had anymore sleep than the expected parents 😜).. Contractions are about 8mins apart...
I'm in the shower talking to self....now pack medications, take out the rubbish, organise for the dogs to be minded...

Came to the shop with conditioner still in my hair 😜
Gave the wrong change😜
Didn't dare send an order out 😳

And then came Alby..long awaited very special, perfect, precious bundle..born at 10.14pm Tuesday night. And now you may call me Gma!

We could not be happier, so proud of them both
They've made the perfect little family.
Shays nurturing character, and the admiration on my son's face had me in tears.
And then to meet Alby yesterday.. my heart could not be any fuller right now.

(And don't worry Lachlan... getting the nappy the right way around doesn't matter too much 😂

I do apologise... Your orders are a little slow to be sent out this week..
Family.. family is just everything 🥰

Wow.. we met Melly & me at the Liberty event hosted by Two Green Zebras.. she had a vision.. to create a pair of Liberty sneakers. Will you take a look at these cuties 🥰.
