Many people ask, “Who’s Murray?”

Murray’s coffee journey began over 70 years ago with a dream that would change the coffee industry in New Zealand. As the sole founder of Robert Harris Coffee, he built one of the country’s most recognised coffee brands, sharing his passion for quality coffee with generations of coffee lovers.

Today, that same passion lives on at Scenic Rim Coffee.

After a lifetime dedicated to coffee, Murray is doing what he loves most—roasting premium coffee in small batches at our Teviotville roastery. Every roast reflects decades of experience, knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Whether you’re enjoying our own home-grown coffee as it comes into production or carefully selected premium beans from around the world, you’re tasting the result of a lifetime devoted to great coffee.

Tasting Day
We are opening this Saturday 8th August for a tasting if anyone is coming our way. We’ll give you a tour and talk about the coffee growing, processing and roasting procedure.
You might even get a bikkie! ☕️😀
We are now stocking our coffee at Aratula Harvest Market if you can’t make it out here.
