Dear Society,

We’ve heard the whispers… and yes, the rumours are true. The shears everyone in the gundog world has been gossiping about have restocked.

A little clarification for those planning their shopping schedule: we’ll be attending the Nationals on Monday, 10 August, alongside our delicious sister treat brand, Solly + Ponk. However, our shears will not be available for purchase on Monday.

The real affair begins at the Championship Show on 12 August, where our full collection will be on display for you to admire, try, and take home.

Now, if the reviews of our SmokeShow have tempted you—and judging by the chatter, they have—we wouldn’t suggest waiting. These beauties are already causing quite the stir. We’re dedicated to providing a personal and professional experience for our grooming and show community, which is why we’re excited to offer an exclusive “Try Before You Buy” in-salon experience for groomers and show exhibitors.

Visit our all-breeds salon to test our range of shears and find the perfect fit for your grooming style, your hands, and your dog. We are able to provide a model, but you’re also more than welcome to bring your own dog along so you can experience the tools on a familiar coat before making your purchase.

Walk-ins are always welcome, however we do recommend booking an appointment where possible. This allows us to dedicate our time to you, answer any questions, and ensure you receive the personalised service we’re proud to offer.

With more than 20 years of professional grooming experience, it has always been my passion to offer premium grooming supplies alongside my grooming services.
Working with beautiful purebred and mixed-breed dogs, particularly those with heavy coats, every day comes with its physical demands. Long hours of grooming can place significant strain on a groomer’s wrists and shoulders, so I wanted to create a range of shears that not only deliver exceptional performance but also reduce fatigue.
My vision was to design a beautiful, ergonomic collection of premium shears and grooming accessories that are lightweight, exceptionally strong, and engineered for precision cutting. Every detail has been carefully considered to provide comfort, balance, and outstanding results for professional groomers.
Today, I am proud to say that I have turned that vision into reality. I look forward to sharing Shear Society with groomers who value quality, craftsmanship, and tools designed by someone who truly understands the profession.
