Red Dragon Nursery at 150 Wulfs Road Karoola will be closed for trading from May 16 until July 1 due to overseas trip.

Open this week Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10-5.
Ideal time to cultivate various ornamental plants, still with residual summer soil warmth and some time to get established before next growing season ( spring/summer ).

April ( and autumn in general ) is the ideal month for planting out a whole range of genera, such as Camellia, Azalea, Rhododendron, Pieris, Hydrangea, Viburnum, Daphne etc. This gives the plants sufficient time to settle in before the next warm season. Don't forget to mulch the new plants immediately they are planted so as not to let competitive w**d seedlings have a chance to take hold.
