I just did a mini trip to the wheatbelt/ mid west to see the wildflowers. The accommodation was booked out in most towns.

What a pity I had to stay at Mellenbye station stay (between Yalgoo & Morawa). This was the view from my cabin balcony when I woke up 🌅

Jarman Island is Located at Butcher’s Inlet near the ghost town of Cossack. It’s visible from the shores of Point Samson and is only accessible by boat.

The lighthouse was built in 1888 with cast iron from the UK. Today the ruins of the light house and stone quarters can be explored on this tiny but beautiful island 🏝️
