And I have to say, as a small business owner, it not only made me a little cranky but some of it hurt. πŸ’”

It was suggesting that Kempsey needs the big chain stores here for our community to grow.
And yes, to some degree, I guess I agree but...Chain stores kill small business.
I'm not looking for sympathy, or anything like that.

What all us small businesses are looking for is support!

We opened these businesses for YOU. For our beautiful town and community.
If everyone supported local, our "local" would grow.
More shops mean more people, more choices, more jobs, a thriving town again.

All the negativity definitely does not help.
