Rotary Book Shop Kempsey

Kempsey Rotary is temporarily looking for a garage or shed to store books. We sell donated books from our book shop in Smith Street next to the Commonwealth Bank and give the money to organizations and people in need. Due to renovations a previous donor needed Rotary to remove stored books and we moved promptly when asked. This does mean we continually have to move boxes of books because we don't own premises. If you can assist please ring President Mick Eller on 0490119307. Please share this request to other sites.

📰💥NEWS FLASH💥📰 Second location opening soon!
📚Our second premises will focus on the sorting and packaging of children's books for shipping to schools and communities in PNG while still having the doors open for those avid readers to browse the ever-growing stock of quality used books we have on offer.
📅⏰Opening days and times will be determined by the availability of volunteers generously lending a hand.
🤔 If you think this might be something you'd like to be part of and can spare a couple of hours now and then, send us a message or phone Mick on 0490 119 307.

Oh my goodness, what beautiful customers we have 😍
Thank you to the wonderful lady from Port Macquarie who came back into Rotary No. 2 Bookshop to deliver these flowers to volunteer and Rotary member Gale.
Your beautiful gesture of kindness made Gale's day!
We love our customers and our community 😍💖🩷💐🙌🏼

👫 Volunteers 💫
The backbone 🦴 of community organisations. The key 🔐 to keeping our Rotary Book Shop open.
🙌🏼We couldn't do what we do without the generosity of time given by the volunteers we call 'Friends of Rotary'.
❓Can you spare a couple of hours a week ⏰
❓Are you friendly, like to have a chat 💬 and meet new people 👥
❓Do you love books 📚 (non-essential criteria 😁 but it is a book shop...)
👉🏼 If you've ever considered volunteering, what better time than now?!
👀 We are looking for help in our little book shop, with a role for everyone. Serving customers, sorting books, music, DVDs and more. No age limit. No obligation to join Rotary.
🤔 Interested? If you'd like to find out more, call Mick on 0490 119 307, send us a message or drop into the Smith Street shop.
We'd love 💞 to have you join our amazing team of volunteers ⭐
