Bit of a late update!
Was fortunate enough to fish the two rounds in Tasmania recently.
Little Swanport - got out to prefish LSP a fortnight before the comp and found good numbers of kg+ fish. Come comp prefish day the fish were still in the same area but lower numbers.
Day 1 i managed to find a few good fish which had me sitting in 5th overnight with 3kg+ but couldn't back them up on day two only bringing in 2.2kg for a 10th place finish.
Scamander- after a venue change due to weather we didn't have a prefish. I don't typically go that well on Scamander, but day 1 i managed two good fish and one barely legal which was good enough for 7th overnight. Unfortunately I couldn't find any better fish on day two and slipped down to finish in 14th place.
Happy to have grabbed some very valuable AOY points from the two trips however and now sitting in 11th place for the year from my 4 rounds! The aim is to get into this year's Australian championships and while i probably have enough points now, will make an effort to do another round to try make it a sure thing!
